Fashion and....Videogames?

Fashion and videogames collided with the introduction of H&M's new set of a clothing line for the popular hit game, The Sims 2.

Although most people don't know it, I'm a great fan of good videogames and I enjoy playing whenever I get the spare time. But it comes as an interesting concept to me when you think about the interaction between modern fashion and videogames. Especially in context to what the characters themselves wear.

In all of the games I've played, realistically a lot of the fashion looked as if they were truly the product of a fantasy-inspired dream. However, there have been moments where I just do a double-take and realize with great surprise, "My! Look at what she's wearing!"

Mackenzie from the Nintendo DS game, "Touch Detective" was a recent example of my surprise. With her Amelie Poulain-inspired haircut, beret, scarf, sailor-inspired dress with black tights and white and black boots, who wouldn't get inspiration from that?

I can't believe there is a Sims fashion game! That just makes me laugh. Although I probably would play it. ;)

I know, I was really surprised when it first came out. It comes with a catwalk and everything too! I haven't personally played it myself, but it does sound very cool.
